Banjo fittings - where to get?
1 Attachment(s)
Where can I get these low profile banjo fittings, aside from ATP? (They are ~$20 each)
I need a fitting in a tight space. My ETD manifold has the flange almost 45° from vertical, so my current fitting will hit the mani if I don't clock the CHRA from vertical. (see photo of my setup in bottom). Ideally I want a low profile fitting which goes down, then turns 90° towards the front of the car, end ends in a barb. I'm thinking of using the first one below, then buying an NPT to plumbing style compression fitting: I will then flare the end of a copper pipe to mate to it, which goes down, then bends 90° towards the front of a car, then I push the 3/8" coolant hose onto it. Banjo to NPT: http://www.atpturbo.com/Merchant2/me..._Code=ATP-FTG1 http://www.atpturbo.com/Merchant2/gr...Kit-225225.jpg or this: Banjo to barb: http://www.atpturbo.com/Merchant2/me..._Code=ATP-FTG1 http://www.atpturbo.com/Merchant2/gr...TG-004_450.jpg Below is my setup. Note left hand coolant fitting, which turns up. There's not enough room to point it down, which is what I want. Note CHRA is clocked clockwise a bit to make the fitting clear the mani. |
have you looked on mcmastercarr?

Summit Racing has about a $10 shipping fee no matter how small an item you buy. But they do send you a free hat and stickers on your very first order.

Did a search on Summit for "NPT Banjo" and got these, none of which is correct:
