Begi kit on 1.6 NB (europe)
I know you guys don't know the 1.6 NB model...
But i want to have more info on the fuel and timing.
The car will be running on 6psi to spare clutch and diff. (i think they still use the 6inch 1.6 diff...)
As the car has a return fuel line i can use an afpr...or not?? (all NB have a return fuel line in Europe, FL 1.8 has no return fuel line)(I have one)
No idea what the base fp is...but as long as i can up the pressure 36psi...
As off timing: I want to adjust 6 degrees using the FM timing wheel.
The manifold is simular to the 89-93 manifold, but the exhaust is 1.8NB...
So i think it will be ok to have a 1.6 begi manifold with a NB 1.8 dowpipe.
Should be ok...
So my list will be:
Begi turbokit:
http://www.bellengineering.net/Pages...ems_BEGiS.html (with 1.6mani)
FM timing wheel:
http://www.flyinmiata.com/index.php?...umber=07-91000
Begi afpr:

Any comments??

The AFPR is included in the US$1685 price of the 1.6 BEGi-S turbo kit, you needn't purchase it separately. What you don't get is the inline fuel pump, which should not be needed to run 5 or 6 PSI, but might be necessary if you want to increase boost beyond that.
I would definitely advise that you consult Bell directly concerning the downpipe situation, but beyond that it sounds like you have a solid plan.

Guess ill contact begi... I need parts from both sets...
The x-over pipe off the 1.6 has a bung for stationary... Don't need it...
Can cap it or ask begi to ship the Nb piece...

Email Stephanie at Bell Engineering for the "mix and match" parts.
Yes, you should be fine with the AFPR. If you want to go higher than 5-6 psi boost you will require a boost pump. Find a way to monitor air-fuel mixture while tuning (even if only a voltmeter observed by a passenger).
Stock fuel pressure is approximately 36 to 38 psi at idle, 50 psi at full throttle. You'll want 50+36 at full throttle.
Good luck.

Any comments??[/QUOTE]
Donīt forget that you need an different oil supply for the turbo. I think the supply for the 1.9 NB models should fit.
Maybe you could ask stephanie if itīs possible to take the afpr out of the kit and lower the price for it.
Then you could buy an emanage blue or ultimate with bigger injectors and you are ready for boost in the future. But this depends on your budget.
