Hey guys,

I have been searching for the answer but have had no luck. Does anyone know the excact thread size for the EGR port (pictured) on the Begi log manifold?

My car does not run an EGR so I wanted to fit a plug into that port on the manifold, I just need to know the thread size. My local hardware stores here in Australia have been no help, so im guessing it's some weird imperial size. lol

Any help would be very appreciated.:bigtu:

According to BEGI website, it should be 1/8 NPT (10.29 mm).

I thought that too, I ordered a 1/8 NPT plug off eBay, when it arrived today it was too small. So I have either been sent the wrong plug, or the thread is a different size.

looks too big for 1/8. probably 1/4 or 3/8

call begi or email then?

Here is the brass fitting that came with the manifold, the threaded end fit the EGR port fine. It's next to the 1/8 NPT plug I got from ebay.

Yeah, I will be doing this.

Just a quick update, Stephanie from Begi got back to me and it turns out it's threaded for 3/8 NPT.

NPT is not used here in Australia which is probably why I had so much trouble finding a plug to suit.
