Default Oil Line Basics

I've been searching for hours, and I'm not finding what I need. I've got most of it, but I can't find a good all-you-care-to-know thread about oil lines.

I've got a GT2560, and a 2002 to put it on. I'm using an AbsurdFlow Begi replacement manifold, and I need some oil lines.

Is there a reasonably priced kit I can buy with supply and drain lines, or is it pretty easy to piece together what I need for a lot less money? I read that I need -4 to 7/16x24 for the supply line, but to be honest I'm not even sure what that means. Do I need a restrictor for a garrett turbo? (If so where do I buy one of those?)

The drain line sounds pretty easy except I don't exactly know what the fitting looks like on the turbo.

Thanks for the info, Joe. What about the T for the engine?

And slightly unrelated: Where do people generally run the supply line? On my last car I ran it around the back, but I never liked that option very much. Probably because the line felt about 3 inches shorter than I would have liked for that route.

Well, both Bell and FM have their own ways of doing this.

Bell uses a rather intricate system which places a distribution block over on the exhaust side of the engine. runs a line around the front from the oil pressure hole, relocates the oil pressure switch to a tee on the block, and feeds the turbo from there.

FM just places a tee directly into the block on the sensor hole, and runs a line around to the turbo.

I expect that if you called either company directly, you could probably convince them to sell you the parts. Instructions in PDF form are on both websites, which show the routing.

If you want to roll your own, the fitting in the block for the OPG switch is threaded 1/8 BSP, so you'd need a 1/8 BSP male adapter to screw into it. Here's a page which has several: http://www.pegasusautoracing.com/pro...p?Product=3230

Well, I ordered all my oil line stuff, but I'm still sort of confused by this AN fitting stuff. There's something in the oil inlet hole that doesn't look like it would allow an AN fitting to fit properly in the hole. I have a banjo fitting for the coolant that ends with AN, and it goes in maybe a half turn before it hits and stops.

I am also not entirely sure what size these AN fittings on the ends of the banjos are. They screw into the top of the turbo, so would that make them -4?
