It was fine even with the geo tracker alternator (10 amps less than stock rated) and Hobby King 8400mAh lipofe4 battery.

No class limitations I'd do a depowered and welded rack with a GM column mounted eps and aftermarket controller because it's cheaper, lighter, and should be more reliable since it doesn't have any hydraulics to spring a leak.

Okay thanks! That makes sense. I also saw the GM solution before I posted but it looked a bit intimidating with all the welding required. Maybe I'll get lucky and KMiata will have a Black Friday sale on their EPS column this year.
