Default Ca18 t25

Looks like Zilvia classifieds have done me wrong. I bought what I thought was a SR t25 (what it was advertised as) but looks to be a CA t25 as it has a .48 trim turbine housing. My fault for not getting more details I suppose.

I'm basically using this turbo as a place holder on my 1.6 until I can afford something like a gt2560.

I guess the question is, should I just run this until I can replace with a 2560? Or resell it and buy a SR t25? I would like to be in the 200hp range for this turbo.

How much would you be willing to pay for my SR20 t25?

Did the picture in the ad show a sr20 turbo or did you buy it sight unseen? Could the seller have accidentally boxed up a ca18det turbo instead of a sr20 turbo? I only ask because it's kinda hard to fathom someone on that site mistaking the two turbos, but anything's possible I suppose.

What condition is the turbo in? If you're thinking about selling it PM me. I might be interested in it as a backup.

So someone feels like a moron... Guess I was tired last night, but I just looked at it this morning and it plainly says AR.64 on the turbine housing... there is a 48 lower on the casting so maybe that's where i got it from... looks like its all good!

That's what mine has on the turbine as well, and .80 on the compressor housing. I know the ca18det has .48 on the compressor side and if I'm not mistaken it has .49 on the turbine side.

Sounds good, glad I got that figured out.
