Thumbs down Car does not run well after sitting for 4 months

I know, it's a shame. The car was caged in December, and then I got busy with the MaX5 car (and won the first race event).

Today I bypassed the alarm and started her up after four months.

Runs really bad, and that's something I cannot figure out yet.

The car runs rough and pours black smoke, LOTS.
Same with no air filter, so that is not clogged.
New plugs, same deal.

I added a some fresh gas, bus unsure how much old gas is in (no dash yet).
Same deal.

Haven't hooked op MegaTune to see what's up, but I suspect everything will show normal, although the WBO2 should show rich probably.

Input?

I probably didnt hook up the MAP sensor... will check tonight. That would do it I think as it would see 0atm instead of vacuum.

just sounds like old fuel burn itself out to me... thats all, just run a good fuel system cleaner for about 1-2 hours, same scenario after taking a long time to put the motor back into my car.

Not hooking up the MAP would do that... Let us know when you check it.

Glad you figured it out. No way anyone would have guessed that one seeing as it was "parked then four months later won't start" which implies nothing had changed.

Well, it was stripped, ECU removed, caged, parked, put together.. like that.
So I hooked up the ECU but not the MAP

Bryans car (disturbedfan) sat for 4 months and it ran like **** when he first started it up. He tried a bunch of things only to realize that when he started it, the timing jumped. Had to do a timing belt job.

Nice to see you found your problem so easily though.
