Default Clean injectors and let them sit for a long-assed time

I'm considering sending out a set of RX7 injectors for cleaning/flow testing. I suspect they'll be then tossed into my box of turbo parts for a few months unused. Will there be any worries if they aren't installed in a timely manner? What if by months I mean not until next year or the year after?

Considering I've been collecting parts for this DIY turbo since sometime around late 2006. . .

Why not just go ahead and finish the megasquirt (or have someone from here assemble it) and then install the injectors?

Otherwise the wax/oil preservative coating (that the cleaning company may or may not have used) might breakdown, potentially allowing corrosion to cause the injectors to stick. And this has happened from personal experience. Good to know, thanks.

I just had an injector cleaning conversation with a local speed shop. They claim that most shops use water based cleaning agent. If you put the injectors in right when you get them back, they're fine. If you leave them sit they rust due to the water based agent.

I had cleaned injectors sit for 1.5 years. they were stuck when I installed them. I ended up having to send them out to get cleaned again.
