Default oil drain leaking :(

Helping a friend with his turbo e30. Just got it running last night, did a bit of tuning as well.

Specs on car:
87 325is e30
Stock M20 with ARPs, standard CR, headgasket, etc.
GT3076 (.63 A/R turbine)
666 mani adapter
Tial 38mm wg
Synapse Synchronic BOV
24x12x3 IC
2.5" piping
3" mandrel self-made exhaust...standard stuff
MS2v3 with Innovative LC-1
Bosch 044, Siemens Deka 63 lb/hr injectors

Problem with oil drain, as he describes it :

"So, after running the car my turbo smokes from the center housing. Hard to be sure where it's emanating from (other than it's not coolant). Also, there is a lot of residue still burning off, plus the DP is wrapped, but still...it is too much smoke. It's a GT3076 with a -3AN feed, -10AN drain. Recently added a 0.035 restrictor and new drain flange seal, no effect. Questions:

1. Is the restrictor hole too small?
2. Are physical leaks and inadequate drainage (mine maxes at a 45 degree angle or so) the only things that can cause this? I suppose the turbo seals themselves could be bad, but I don't have any leaks or residue in the charge piping or dp. Can it just be forced out?
3. I highly doubt it is the feed--it's be obvious. If it's the drain, the seal isn't working...but it's new. Is there any sort of RTV-type sealant that can withstand the temperatures, but won't flake or clog the oiling system?
4. Are there any kind of torque specs for the tightness of the bolts holding the drain flange? I cranked on 'em pretty damn good, but I suppose it could be higher. Garrett GT3076R, remember.

Sorry if these questions seem stupid, but I thought my problem was solved when I bought the restrictor. Thanks in advance."

Helping him tune it and get's frustrating when we stop and the turbo is smoking from an oil leak!

Once we get the base tune done I want to post it up in the MS section, try to get some feedback from some of you experience guys, make sure there isn't any red-flags. But so far we haven't been able to get into full boost, mostly cause of paranoia, heh.

Any help is appreciated! He use to own a miata, hah!
