Default Crazy Request- What other intake manifolds fit the 1.8?

I know.. i probably have hundreds of people acting like this..

I have a locost with a miata engine and wish to turbo it. I was hoping someone knew if there is an intake that bolts onto the 1.8 that was designed for a FWD and has the throttle body on the other side? IE near cylinder 4.

Any helps appreciated !

Thanks`

I heard that the intake manifold off of a Lamborghini Countach will work.

Just to let you know, if you are going for higher power levels or simply more boost less psi I'd look into a 323 GTX or even a 323 GTR intake manifold. They are designed for high output rally car versions of the miata engine and flow way more air. They also point in the direction you want them to and they say "TURBO" on them.

If you had known this from the start you could've had a GTR engine for ~$1800, iirc, with a 320+whp capable turbo, a built short block with good manifolds and MS'ed it for cheap (relatively) power.

the escort gt intake manifold will fit the miata as far as i know but the only thing that i can see that would be a problem is that the TB would be facing the firewall....

That would be sort of cool for a cold air intake off the cowl there on a car running MAP instead of an AFM on a non-turbo app..
