I'm guessing full-on Arbys.

That is IMHO an ideal comp ratio for a street driven turbo car. It will get out of its own way just fine off boost, and tuning can be very fun and forgiving. Some people act like the engine wont run well at that SCR or something. Stock 1G DSMs ran 7.8:1. Old 911 turbos ran at like 6.5:1 IIRC.

Seems like it's pretty quick and fairly loud. Maybe once I get my car running I can make it into town from the country and check it out

Yah, its pretty obnoxious with the open downpipe. I think hes gonna be getting to work on a full 3" exhaust pretty soon. Itll still be un-muffled, but at least itll be out the back of the car and not under the floorboard

Yea my car used to be open DP so I know what you're saying. That and my cammed 04 GTO was riding out with open headers for a while so loud cars don't bother me much anymore
