depends how good your F/IC programming is. did you convert to a fuel return to use that FPR?

I would stay below 8 psi on that setup. and know what detonation sounds like.

There are inconsistencies between your post and your signature, please update your signature... and please be specific about stuff. Saying "the works" doesn't help. And pointing out that you have a 6spd has nothing to do with your question.

Then I found this thread:

I don't get it. You've already got some "bad-***" map's. The T28 compressor upgrade isn't that huge a difference to warrant any major changes. You might run 1-2psi more than you did last time if you've got the fuel. I'd assume a competent dyno operator would keep turning up the boost until he ran into something he didn't like and then stop. Your turbo runs out of efficiency at 15psi. Your AEM is weaksauce and is limited by the fuel curve of the stock ECU. You'll either run out of turbo or run out of fuel. Running out of turbo is indicated by turning up the boost and gettting no more power (usually accompanied by knock but your A/F's might not change that much.) Running out of fuel is obvious on a wideband... no leaner than 12.5:1 in boost. When that happens, back off 1psi and quit. Your tuner will know this.

my bad i'll fix all of that and i'll be more specific... when i said bad *** map's that was without a fuelpump, fuelpressure, and bigger turbo, now that i have those things i wasn't sure how much of a difference it would make on the engine.

So now I need to know about this AFPR. Typically, when you have the ability to control injector pulse width, you shouldn't use an AFPR. Adding the variable of "fuel pressure" into your tuning equation is going to make tuning a pain. There is decent resolution on the AEM and it will give you 100% more pulse width... so the 460's (on the stock fuel pump) should probably be enough for that turbo.

I'm a little '99 stupid, but why are you running an AFPR?

well when they were tunning my can they couldn't go past a certaing psi due to stock fuel pump and fpr and my 460's so what i think they did was max out both fuelpump and fpr to my 460 so i can run decent still while driving sometimes i would get a fuelcut..so now that i got those things taken care of that's were my thread comes in
