EFR 7163 T25 AR .85
This does look like it would be the pick of the T25 IWG turbos for 450hp or so.
A lot of people seem to make good numbers (better than 450hp even) on smaller turbos and turbines, but I think those really lean on the E85 to do that.

I put one on a j35 with non ideal manifolds (stock) and it gets to ripping pretty much full tilt at 2,000 RPM, enough to blow tiny 13" tires off the dyno.
Can't imagine it'd be fun in a miata, but EFR makes all those handy flow calculators so you don't even have to do it the old napkin way. Plot it out, see what it says...

Miata2fast has my old car that has the v-band version of this turbo on a built 1.9l BP. He's been refining that car for a few weeks and will probably be able to give some first hand impressions and logs here soon.
Don t forget we only have 98ron in Portugal, and will be the main fuel.
At the moment i have 365hp with a good spool, my main thing is don t have to much lag.
My dyno
Looks good bro, same turbo I am using. I have found the compressor to be tapped out at 1.5-1.6bar and in order to make more power you need high octane or a bigger turbo. Mine is making 370whp at 1.5bar though with 100 octane, 335whp on 93 octane at 1.2-1.3 bar.
