Exhaust Compatibility
*Mods, feel free to move if there's a more appropriate section for this*
Currently collecting the parts for my 1995 1.8 turbo build that I should begin as soon as summer rolls around. Just spotted a turbo part out on my local craigslist and saw a test pipe back Enthuza 2.5in exhaust being sold for $350. The only issue is that it's from a 1.6 NA.
Obviously, the header flanges are different on a 1.6 vs 1.8, but aside from that, are the exhausts the same and would the test pipe match to my stock 1.8 header while I'm waiting to start my build/find a downpipe/fab a downpipe? I'm aware there is a bit of discussion already done about exhausts here and at m.net, but nobody seemed to give definitive answers to my situation. Asking here since everyone has likely done some exhaust modifications and may have related knowledge.

If you look through Enthuza's website, you'll find the answer. http://enthuzacar.com/product-category/miata/miata-na/

Correct. NA6 and NA8 have different cats due to flange angle differences. You could use the cat-back portion of the exhaust though, if you were able to get a new TP, or maybe get the TP modified to fit your car. Not sure what a cost from a muffler shop would be for that, compared to how much you'll save on the overall package by buying used.
