Default Fake catalytic converter?

Does anyone know where to buy a "fake" cat? Like a straight pipe with a cat canister or heat shield welded to it. Straight smooth inside, not a gutted cat. Just wondering if something like that exists.

But for ~$40 + shipping it's not worth my grief.

Taking the heatshielding off the OEM stuff and tacking it onto the straight pipe is an idea. I like the official looking silconeintakes piece better though.

OEM shielding is thin and flimsy as hell. Often rusted beyond repair too. $40 + shipping doesn't sound too bad though

Id say go for the $40 its not worth the hassle unless you have an old cat laying around that is already gutted and you can just shove a piece of tube through it. Ive done that I got one at a junk yard that was gutted and it was off of a truck so it was 3" so I just put some tube through it.

I have an LS2 engine cover that you could mount over your valve cover

Just draw LS1 on the stock cover with a sharpie

No one will know the difference.
