Default A few pics of the ongoing build aka The neverending money pit

Well it starts thats a definate plus for a
Still waiting on the w/b to get here , they sent me an oil pressure gauge for some fool reason so another week of waitng for me. In the menatime ill drop in the supra injectors i guess.
Idles perfect, runs good up until you get into boosting then kinda bucks a bit. I haven't really run it yet, was dark out and haven't found a place where i can let it loose. The local constables are fairly proactive here and this thing sticks out like a drunk elephant.
Also havent gotten my walbro in yet so that may be part of the problem.

Lot of tuning in to do - Just as soon as i figure out what that all involves. Im just glad its on the ground again, been sitting in the air for two months!!

Nice looking car. You're going to want to wait for that fuel pump and your wideband before getting on it.

I have only one question. How do the sticker attached to the underside of the hood not peel off with all the heat?

There not the midd tenn ones, those are complete garbage. These are the AAC ones, I hate carbon fiber so i had them painted. The hella beams put out more light than the stockers, Getting them all adjusted properly though is a real beyotch.
Roll bar, i know ive heard all the pros for it, my opinion, with all the suspension work this thing is superglued to the road and if i drive stupid enough to actually flip it over somehow then i deserve to be under it and hopefully didnt kill someone else in the process.

thats what i meant, my mind wandered off as i was typing...
so, how is the visibility? better or worse than the barn doors?
could you take a pic from like a drivers POV? i am very interested in those...i just want proof from someone other than the company...

Ill see if i can tonight if i get home in time. The only complaint i really have is the beam is more focused rather than a diffused type lstock lighting. Well that and the aiming them issue, You cant adjust them with the buckets in, so adjust them put the buckets back in, find out that you knocked them silly putting the buckets in and start over again. Using the clear covers with them gives me clearance issues and i just dont like them.

Oh and the vacuum lines were free, im not really much on them yet i was hoping it would grow on me. Waiting on a polished intake mani to get here then i will prob change them out, the guy at the local part store wanted 1.29 a foot for vacuum line, I laughed in his face.

Talusfan, this: "Waiting for the UPS Guy, now I know how my dog feels when I come home." is as good a line as I've read in quite some time

OK so had a chance to take it for spin today, Have everything tuned way down atm.

Other than the bypass valve partly opening at cruise/part throttle it runs like a raped ape. And thats at only at greddy's 5psi. I cant wait to get the rest of this stuff in the mail so i can turn it up.
In anticipation of getting my wideband i left the bung open on the dp when i put it in, not thinking they might just send me a oil gauge for giggles, silly me, That took a bit to figure out what that annoying noise was right by my ***.
The bucking with they bypass valve though is kind of irritating. If you back off the throttle for a sec it will close.

Good eye, the answer is they were free, and free is always good.

Yep, I couldn't find a 1 1/4" hose anywhere to match that stupid recirc valve. Recycling is good right?
