I think ETD are the only ones who have flanges, right? $75 shipped :( http://www.etdracing.com/flanges.html |

isn't our stock heasd flange stainless why not use one of those?

The manifold I'm building next is most likely going to be mild steel, so I want a mild steel flange. I want to ceramic coat it so it looks better.

bmcrace.com also sells flanges for the 1.6 and 1.8. Just contact them via email.
Last quote I got for mild 1/2" flanges was like $45-48 shipped for a regular cut flange. For a 1.5" Sch 40 ported flange that would work perfect with weld-els was $68 shipped. No idea how they cut their flanges (cnc or plasma) and I never dealt with them to see product quality. They're used alot my the honda crowd though. |
Just FYI i saw some examples of this machines work and it does very well indeed. It might not be as intricate as a CNC or water jet but the cut quality and controll is pretty bad ass. Any worry about slag as i had as well is totally unfounded when dialed in this thing cuts steel like butter and makes some kick ass stuff.
