The flyin Kiwi - ex KFJ

I'm the lucky guy who picked up most of KFJ's parts as he moved to Cali.

Firstly I have to say what an awesome guy he was to deal with - he helped sooo much and made it easy to come to a deal (which as you can imagine isn't straight forward when you are buying over the internet, talking so much money, and having to shipping it 1/2 way around the world).

Anyway - The install has been going pretty well - and I thought I would share progress pics. Installing the new injectors and the Wideband (Innovate LC-1) this evening.

Separate wire/fuse?

That breather over the manifold is gonna melt. The rubber softens and the weight causes it to tear, eventually falling on top of the manifold and turning into a pile of rubbery goo.

When you get tired of replacing it, get a metal nipple breather and route it over to the passenger side of the engine bay with a length of fuel hose.

Nope - The LINK I already had.

Thanks for the idea on the breather - Ill do that next time - at $60 a pop (yes I said $60 NZD) - I'm not going to swap it more than once - I'm a fast learner.

Breather???

So Miatamad my old friend :) Good to see you half way around the world...

My question, I have a stock ECU with a piggy back, what does the filter do on the breather, also where does an oil catch can fit into this equation (if at all)?

Cheers Gazza

I have 2 years on mine with no melting, although my manifold is jethotted.
