Do all GT28 Turbos use the same rebuild kit?
I recently bought a turbo-
Garrett T25 Turbo SR20DET CA18DET RB26DETT Skyline Silvia s13 s14 S15 Civic JDM | eBay
and looks like it needs a rebuild.
I could not find much that tells me what it is besides a journal bearing t25 flanged turbo from a RB26DETT.
My question is- are all rebuild kits the same?
Could I buy a "GT28" rebuild kit and use it?
Here are the part numbers in case anyone knows...
466071 - 6C
14411 - 24U04
Ive searched a ton. I beelieve the 1411 # is the nissan part number. Ive also called Garrett and left a message
any help is appreciated!

^this. If I remember right, they sell 2 different kits. One has a 360* thrust bearing, the other I think is like 270*?
For that turbo you linked, you won't use the 360*.
If I was home, I could go in my garage and give you the name of their kit...I think it's "dynamic seal kit". Call them and ask though...I wouldn't buy from anywhere else.

Search for a thread made by SamNavy about how to rebuild your t25 turbo.
It's a great write up. That rebuild kit will come with A LOT of parts you won't need.
Be really ---- when it comes to cleaning everything.
That's about all I can tell you.
