Default Greddy kit turbo replacement

Hello guys I am in the process of replacing my greddy manifold (ordered ETD replacement manifold) and I wonder if I could replace the TD04H by any other TD04 (i.e there's a guy selling a WRX TD04, would that fit?)

I am currently running greddy turbo kit @ 5-6 psi, NO FMIC, here's picture, you'll see why i want to change the turbo ...

Thanks !

in theory you SHOULD be able to swap your turbine housing onto the wrx center section and compressor. i have yet to test fit this as a cheap and easy alternative to rebuilding the greddy turbo or replacing it. this would essentially give you the wrx turbo but maintain the same turbine housing flanging. again, i have yet to test fit this to see.

there is also an MHI td04 that thasac located, that is a bolt up replacement to the greddy. something like 550 bucks and you have a brand new (also water cooled) turbo.

beyond that, your best option is rebuilding yourself (if you have a place that can balance it after nearby) or sending it out for a rebuild to somewhere like Majestic Turbo or GPopShop

Test fit the MHI turbo up last night. Perfect fit on both flanges. The only notable differences are its water cooled, the manifold flange is drilled for 10mm studs instead of 8mm (I plan on tapping the manifold for 10's anyhow) and the compressor housing needs to be drilled and tapped if you want to reuse the greddy wastegate bracket or you can swap compressor housings of your old Greddy.

purchased it from ZTL motorsports for $550- they had great communication and took the time to measure the flange drawings I sent to confirm fitment. They also have a 1 year warranty on the turbo.

What about if someone wanted to get a larger compressor wheel onto a GReddy TD04? To make it flow a bit more up top.

??? Look like it will do the job?

Should this bolt right on? I imagine I can just have a turbo rebuild shop pop the wheel on and balance it for me?
