GT2560R: The one with the Inconel wheel or the other one?
So as best I can tell there are two versions of the GT2560R: the 466541-1 and 466541-4. The -4 has a Ni-Resist turbine housing and an Inconel turbine wheel. The -1 doesn't. I don't know what the turbine wheel on the -1 is made of.
Both are exactly the same price.
I am having a hard time finding a description of what the trade-offs are. There must be trade-offs if the price is the same and both are available. I assume the Inconel wheel is stronger at high temperatures. I am guessing it is also heavier, but since I don't know what the other material is I don't know for sure.
Which one is better?
Intended use is street & occasional track days at 8/10ths.

In all honesty... I think you will be okay with either. Inconel is just a different alloy that is more resistant to heat than other alloys. They are common in WRC due to the heat produced by their anti-lag systems. The Inconel wheel depending on the alloy will add more cost typically. Ceramic is bad...
I've tried emailing a few distributors and haven't gotten a reply.
Well Kday it seems that I gave you some less than informed advice. I apoligize. I tried to contact them and all I got was the advice to read there tech articles and then contact one of there distributors.

Hey, no problem, it was a good suggestion, since my inclination is to avoid the telephone and it hadn't occurred to me to look for a phone number.
It's peculiar that this is not common knowledge though. Maybe I should cross-post it on m.net?

Well, I ended up getting the -4 version. Here it is next to a broken 2560 out of a Nissan, note the different casting for the turbine housing. I don't know if this was a running change for both the -1 and -4 turbos or if it's unique to the -4.
