Default GTX2863 and GTX2867

Hi,
I am considering a GTX2863 or a GTX2867 from my GT2860RS.
The car is built 70% for circuit work and 30% daily.

Now, I am wondering if GTX2867 will make the car too laggy and hence affecting drivability out of corners.

Anyone with spool data of either GTX2863 or GTX2867 to share with me?

How much power do you want?

There's this sweet search function on this forum.
There's actually an entire thread about spool data from various members.

Well there's one that I know of running a GTX2867, and no one that I know of running the 2863.

But pdexta hasn't dynoed or taken a spool log so afaik we can only guess at this point.

OP without power goals this conversation is useless.

There is no spool data for gtx2863 and gtx2867 in any thread.
What makes you think I haven't search?

I am looking at 320bhp. Is that reasonable with a built bottom?

You could do that with a 2860RS, you can make CLOSE to 300 (in some cases, over if you use e85) with a 2560, a built bottom end with rods and forged pistons will be needed for over mid-200 tq as that's when you bend rods.

I thought it said GT not GTX.
at 320hp I'm thinking you'd be in the ball park with those. Maybe peaking them out.

Aren't the GTXs pretty expensive? You could go twin scroll too.

There's no such thing as 70% track 30% street.

For the track, pick the bigger turbo and make the same power on less boost.

Both of those turbos will be able to hit 320whp but I would go with the 2867 because it has more head room for when you inevitably want to turn up the boost.

Thanks all.
I should have asked from the start, I really just wanted to know if anyone knows how much laggier will the GTX2863 compared to GTX2867?

...or tune it properly and pick the smallest turbo you can use and still meet your power goal, like every properly built turbocharged race car in existence.

For 320whp, I'd do a 2863. (I'd actually do an EFR6258, but that's another story.)
