Default HELP! With picking turbo

Alright so I have a 95 miata the motor is completely stock. I’m looking for a turbo that I can gain a good amount of power with stock internals. I really don’t want to ebay turbo kit I heard a lot of mixed reviews on them. If you guys could please help me out. I don’t really have a price range as long as I’m getting something good and not junk.

Plenty of companies make complete turbo kits, all the ones im listing are good kits even on a stock Motor.

MKTurbo
Flyin Miata
Trackspeed Engineering

They can supply pretty much complete with everything that you need.

Get your wallet ready, everything said and done usually runs $5-7K. NOT including labor to install.

Can be done cheaper if you know what you are doing, find good used parts and piece a kit together from various used deals.

eBay taco taco T25 manifold SR20 T25 Turbo if you're into DIYing things.
You'll have to figure out a downpipe, oil lines, intercooler piping/intercooler, coolant lines. - Probably some more things, but not too hard to research.
Most of these things can be had on eBay - oil lines, intercooler stuff (cx racing intercooler, 2 inch piping kit) and coolant lines can all be had from eBay.
I bought a HF welder, and made things work for my downpipe/rest of my exhaust.

PM techsalvager on miata.net. He is a turbo and ecu pro. The lowly megasquirt cant live up to his standards. No turbo is good enough for his 1.6 to spool. You should get advice from him. Also, pm hyper, he will set you up with adequate coolant routing.

Both were banned from here for being technological innovators. SJMarcy is also worth contacting. His datalogging skills are out of this world.

whatever you do make sure the turbo is so big that you physically cannot shut the hood. The RAM AIR will spool it at highway speeds north of 100mph.
