Can we get pics of your setup? Interested to see what a turbo setup on stock ECU with no timing control at all and no BOV looks like.

Yes I will this weekend, no access to a computer for now

Nothing in your original post mentioned that this was temporary...

You can probably source an OEM recirculation valve of some sort and use it without needing to resort to welding/etc.

300ZX twin turbos have great ones. Maybe even one off you old Saab?

Yeah sorry you're right, forgot to mention lol but yeah I might go back to the scrapyard to pick the stock one of the saab and see if its an easy fit. Otherwise I'll change one aluminium elbow on my piping for a steel one and weld a flange on it

I've run 60psi without a BOV.....

.......of course that was on a diesel. :)

I spoke with Tial and asked if one 50mm BOV was sufficient for the turbo setup i was working on (twin 3582rs on an lsx) and they told me that if its a 5 speed car being used for drag or street applications i really dont even need one at all, we did end up using 2 50mms just in case though. I have put together non intercooled mustang turbo kits with no BOV and no issues but not with a t25 with no antisurge, nissan put a BOV on the stock s13s but its hard to say if that was to prevent noise or to extend turbo life, or maybe both.

Interesting, thanks for your reply! I will run it like that for now, i'm sure a BOV can extend the turbo's life too but i'm running 8psi on a 500$ setup on a 700$ car with 312000km so the engine might go before the turbo anyway haha
