Default Intercooler piping 1.8 1995 mk1

Hello everyone! I’m new here so just getting to grips with how to use the site!

I am routing the cold side of my intercooler piping, and on the throttle body there is a hose underneath the main throttle body intake which connects to the stock intake pipe. I’m wondering what this is for and what do I need to do? Should I blank it off and if so what would you use, or does this need to go into the intercooler piping? Pictures attached below.

Thanks very much in advance

It's your idle air control valve, you need it. Add a fitting to your piping before the throttle body to have that go into it.
