this is the correct flowing 190lph walboro fuel pump I need right, I see theres 2 of them in the scroll window

Ben 03-05-2007 05:22 PM

you want the HP model right? it's the one with part #
F2(a bunch of zeros)141

The GS model is not HP

RicanmiataRacer 03-05-2007 05:25 PM

thats what I needed to know, the hp unit or the lph unit, Im placing an order today and need to be sure what im getting, boost levels planned stay between 8-10 psi

UofACATS 03-05-2007 05:26 PM

HP. high pressure.

From the site:

Selected options:
Pump Size: 190lph HP (WAL F20000141) (+5 bucks)

That's the one I bought.

Ben 03-05-2007 05:28 PM

Probably either would work, but I'd be safe and get the HighPressure model with the F2 part # and not the GS standard pressure model.

RicanmiataRacer 03-05-2007 05:32 PM

don't buy the 255.

why?

well I'll quote myself:

Regardless, there are still a few options in fuel pumps. The ideal pump is the Walbro 190 lb/h HP fuel pump. HP stands for high pressure. It is important you get a HP unit if you plan on raising the fuel pressure levels past 90psi. The HP models can supply fuel up to 130psi. The standard 190 lb/h fuel pump is maxed at 90psi and the standard 255 lb/h pump is maxed at 80psi. The 190 HP unit will not only supply four 700cc injectors with enough flow to maintain 40-50psi in the fuel rail (enough for 400hp), but out flows the 255 HP model after 100psi.
