Default LC-1 Question

Hey, just wired up my LC-1 and have a quick question:

When I first turn the key to acc for power to the gauges, the LC-1 gauge will flash a constant 7.4 until the sensor element warms up completely (which is a couple of minutes) then it will go to the solid appropriate open air numbers. Is this normal? I'm fairly certain I did the open air calibration, but I burnt up the LED that came with the kit (it was a low voltage LED and I, brilliantly, put it up to a 9v battery to make sure I had the anode/cathode sides correct and it sizzled).

TL;DR: How long does your lc-1 take to warm up and for the gauge to show the appropriate reading.

Thanks a bunch

mine usually takes about 40 seconds to show correct AFR
make sure you did the heater calibration when you first set your lc1 up
then do a open air calibration after that

Anywhere from 30 seconds to 1 minute, depending on whether the car is already warmed up or not, running or not running, etc. It should be reading full lean (ie 22.4) if the car hasn't been running for more than say, 20 hours or so.

I've yet to start the car, still tiding up the turbo bits. Thanks for the answers, I'm going to run to radioshack and get a new LED just so I can be sure
