Default Manifolds with EGR bung

Are there any NB manifolds still in production other than the FM and Blip Speed Motorsports (Max G) that have EGR bungs? I'm looking to maintain emissions compliance, but am having trouble stomaching $1k for the FM stuff.

Are you no longer running a megasquirt? A megasquirt has no provision for controlling a EGR valve.

Are you certain the EGR is required to pass emissions testing where you live?

Note that most aftermarket ECUs don't implement EGR, so unless you're running a low-power turbo with a pulse-lengthening fueling solution like FM's Voodoo box, you'll find it difficult to actually run EGR with a turbo.

If you are looking at my old posts, I scrapped that project. I never got the MS2 working correctly and I wasn't aware of any good tuners in my area. I'm wanting to try again, but this time im wanting to keep it really simple and just use TRD Fuel and Timing cards.

I don't actually have inspections in my area, I just like the idea of keeping the car emissions compliant if I can, since I'm going to use a piggy back anyways.

I'm planning on running a piggy back and most likely sticking withe the 8psi wastegate pressure.

You can tie into the exhaust after the turbo and before the cat.
Avoids the turbine inlet pressure (TIP sometimes double the boost level) working against the EGR valve.
If you must run EGR this is the way to solve the TIP blowing the EGR valve off its seat.

"No inspections" I'd leave it off until it became an issue.

The turbo and any non-CARB parts will defeat any emissions compliant goals anyways...

The only truly effective way to skin the emissions cat is to keep ALL of the original crap in a box and fully revert to stock as required.
Check out SOH's threads. He reverts every two years.

Im starting to agree. I've really been wanting to go with the Kraken top mount kit, the only thing holding me back was the EGR issue. I'll just pull the CEL bulb to make myself feel better lol. .
