Ok so first and foremost... I'm an idiot..
Now that that's out of the way...
Did I kill the sensor? I had to connect my stock 02 sensor to get through inspection this week. I temporarily zip tied my LC-2 sensor out of the way and without thinking I popped the plastic cap back onto it (I should have disconnected power to the gauge ... ugh) ... So the plastic melted onto the tip of the sensor... would that affect the sensor performance at all ? I got the plastic all off after some peeling and scraping. I just want to make sure I dont end up with an inaccurate reading. It doesn't look like any plastic got into the holes in the sensor but I don't know if I can be 100% sure. New sensor is $79 + Shipping and I'd prefer to avoid buying a new one if I can

if you do end up having to buy a new o2 sensor, it's this sensor for 50 bucks
