Don't listen to these guys. Take my advice:

mazda engine have problems, and once it does it gets fucked up, so putting turbo on will just make the problem worst

But, a turbo kit from one car will not bolt onto another. The parts are not compatible... specifically the manifold and downpipe. The flange that bolts the manifold to the engine does not have the same flange (or not that I know of)... and since a Civic is FWD w/a transverse mounted engine w/exhaust on the front side, the exhaust routes underneath the engine and back... while the Miata is RWD with a longitudinally mounted engine and the exhaust is on the side of the engine and runs back.

The turbocharger itself is essentially a universal item and will bolt to any manifold/DP that has the right flanges for it to bolt to and will fit in the space provided under the hood.

As for injectors, 450's are a good size if you're going with some sort of engine management (standalone/piggyback) but cannot be used with the stock ECU and the DSM injectors are not compatible with the stock Miata wiring harness and will need to be modified to work at all.

Did you read the FAQ that I linked and did you go to the FlyinMiata and Bell websites and check out their products like I linked in the 4th post?
Since im pretty sure that this level of reading comprehension is above and beyone what MazdaMitaTurb-Oh can understand (obviously because he is from the "OC"), let me put this into simple words and phrases.

Miata turbo is expensive to get done to engine do not **** up and is good. You must have computer in car to make sure manifold welds dont blow and that floorboards do not fall off. :gay:

but turbo does accelerate wear somewhat since you're working the engine harder with the turbo. use better oil with the turbo and change it more frequently for example. turbo.
That whole thing reminded me of:

I think this would be better:

Ok dude check this there is only room for one abiguosly bad gramar using turbo afficianado. Your freind is probably talking about rotaries, wich blow up very easily esp if the tune is crap.
To realy help you we need-
  1. Year of car
  2. Power gaols
  3. budget
Professionaly instalation is not recomemded generally on this forum accept for those who are retarded or rich (essentialy retarded with $$) Tunning however is something that is good to farm out especialy of you are chickenshit or, know and trust other people to not blow your stuff up. You have many hours of reading ahead of you. You say you know about miatas, but as of now you still have not shown us any information we can use to help you. You do know there is more than 1 miata model right?

+1 on no professional installation. Who's going to do a better job, an informed enthusiast working on their own car or your local t00ner shop that mostly installs overpriced intakes and wheels on Civics and 240s and has very little knowledge about YOUR car? **** rice shops, they're all hacks.

Step one is to get informed. This could take anywhere from a few months to a year of diligent, daily research. You'll also need a shop manual.

+1 on rice shops, ******* tried to charge me $30 to install each tire and offered no guarantee that they won't scratch my rims because "they is uhh low tires and its hard and stuff like that"...lol wow
if you can do it yourself do it...buy lots of beer and call all the local guys to come help you, buy pizza too and they'll actually help once they get there, lol

Hahaha, you go the the University of Contoured Integras? That place is ricer city.

I vote that the OP **** off. Just pay someone to install a 100 wet shot and call it a day. You fail at cars and you are wasting our time with your ignorance and marginal ability with the English langauge.

Also, I hate wallet mechanics that don't know the first thing about cars. At least learn the proper words for things. If you aren't going to do it yourself, you are on the wrong forum. This is DIY Turbo.
