The title pretty much sums it up. Are the Mazdaspeed miata intakes any different from the standard NB intakes at all?

"intakes" suggests the stuff in front of the throttle body.

it looks like only the airbox and snorkel on the inlet side are the same or similar at least.

but the aluminum part... wat

 

To clarify, by aluminum intake, I mean the aluminum "intake runners" just past the throttle body, attached to the head.

I think they are the same, but there is is one on ebay from an MSM with a Buy it Now of $499, so I wasn't sure if they were just hoping for a sucker or there was a reason to believe they might actually get it.

You mean what we ALL know as an "intake manifold"? No difference. Same as 01-05.
