so do you like sleeping with Al Pacino?

Jk...damn nice setup....with a good and easy upgrade path.

I'm going to start saving for a badass custom SS mani right now.

Let me know when you figure it out. Or I will let you know once the water outlet arrives at my house. I plan on just going to the autoparts store to buy some hose or find a piece of pipe to join 2 sections together.

I'd rather get a hardpipe made with 2 silicone or rubber couplers on it. Well, that or go ahead with my desire to replace every clamp fitting with braided nylon hose and aircraft fittings.

SS runners with mild flanges :fawk: keeps the warping (and price) to a minumum.

Credit for the waterneck goes to Hustler. He gave me the idea.

Hustler, we'll reuse your stock hoses. You still have them, right? A section to connect the two can be made from the stock pipe as well.

yes, hustler is the shit and gets tons of bitches.

Yes, I have the hoses...and a box of Mr. Potato Head hoses. I'm really excited about all this v-band glory.

That set-up looks really good, I wish I could hear it in person once you get it running. For now I have to satisfy myself with hearing mine.

Hustler,

What were the results of you removing the evap. canister on the passenger side of the car normally located near the headlight. Has it effected idle, or anything else for that matter. Did you loop the lines together, and just delete the canister?

slutz4 09-29-2009 04:17 PM

I got ride of mine, just loop it.

ARTech 09-29-2009 04:59 PM

Hmm...I never considered reusing that pipe. I assumed you'd get rid of it and route the heater hose under the intake manifold. I guess if it clears the compressor it's fine.

It wont be a big deal if I cant use it anyways. All Id have to do is get another piece of longer hose.

johnwag 12-25-2009 11:21 PM

Did you ever get this installed, slutz? I wanna see the finished pictures!

slutz4 01-04-2010 11:09 PM

Its coming along. Ive been held up because my local welder wasnt doing any work over the holidays. I had to weld a cast elbow on my compressor housing so thats been a hold up. The intercooler setup is pretty much all done though. Ill post some new pics tommorow prolly.

Braineack 01-05-2010 12:17 AM

I wish you didnt run the heater return to the upper hose...good luck with warm up.

slutz4 01-05-2010 12:19 AM

ya about the warm up... it really doesnt happen hahaha. Luckily this car doesnt get driven daily. If things are too bad, Ill figure something out
