ya its definitely good quality. Nothing better than not having to go to the hardware store anymore. I still need to expand my metric stuff though

UPDATE

The cars running well with no afm on megasquirt, and I have the aem wideband as my primary o2 sensor working well with the pnp. Now all I gotta do is put in my rx7 460 injectors and Ill be able to drive it =). Well and I need to wait for the foot of snow on the roads to melt lol.

I finished rerouting wires on the passenger side and finally put a filter on the turbo.

Props on the engine bay, looks really clean...

apariah 02-13-2010 11:58 PM

I agree, it looks really good. Just wondering is it track only> You mentioned snow on the ground, but it doesn't look like you have a heater based on couple of hoses that look like they are missing.

I havent started the car yet since putting on the turbo. Im sure it will be somewhat loud but not that bad. I live in an area where mustangs drive to the dragstrip with open headers. Im sure Ill be ok. Ill make sure to get some good videos once the car is running. But I expect that is still about a month away.

I ran my car with out the muffler last night, exhaust ended right before the differential. It was OMG loud. The turbo sounded amazing through the exhaust though.

Anyways that engine bay is looking super clean.

slutz4 02-14-2010 08:14 AM

I take it to local car meets and stuff like that, but its definitely not my daily by any means. The under hood fuse box is mounted under the dash on the passenger side.

Well I somewhat messed up my ignitor by megasquirt. But the car is running fairly good other than that. Ive been driving it a decent amount of the weekend and have been playing around with settings. I put the dual feed fuel rail in, rx7 460 injectors, shock tower bar, and gutted the hood somewhat because I was bored lol. Anyways here are the pics.

that t25 is hella clean. is it new, or from an sr20 type deal...

slutz4 02-21-2010 08:11 AM

sr20 type deal. People around here sell them for 100 dollars in decent shape. There just so cheap it was hard to pass up as a starting point.

How long was the extention?
(G)

slutz4 04-04-2010 08:18 PM

about .6 inch if I remember right. Half an inch goes along way with adjustment. Im honestly not sure how much camber I removed it may of been even more.

Reverend Greg 04-04-2010 10:02 PM

About 15mm then...Cool,I have a similar problem, even though I plan on raising my ride height..this is good info. Thanks

First, awesome build, very clean. Second, I never thought about this before, but isnt a miata without heater or reroute just asking to overheat/fry #4? Explain your coolant routing (where is the spliced line in upper hose going?)
