Problem with that is our engines are very different if I remember right? So wont really be an apples to apples comparison. However, I do believe I may try to build a long tube top mount and compare myself.

Yea, not skimping on heat shields around the turbo, manifold and t tunnel.

I was referring to the PS pump and AC compressor, but yeah, I plan on doing A LOT of that kind on insulation/shielding on my firewall and tunnel when the engine is out. What exactly did you use?

I will be using DCI XT-5000-LGE SheetHot Extreme between the manifold and PS water hose and AC, i used the DEI self athesive tunel blanket for the trans tunel and firewall.
