am I correct in thinking that the only difference between this and the T25 used by most around here is the bend in the outlet?

adbradley 01-09-2007 11:48 AM

yeah

I thought there were differences between the Mistu t25 and Garrett t25....one obvious one being the turbine inlet shape.

Oscar 01-10-2007 12:29 PM

still, what would it cost having it rebuilt?

Braineack 01-10-2007 01:45 PM

$50 bucks. gpopshop.com

It's a 48/49 wheel section. CHRA's on T2 series turbos are all pretty much the same. The housings will swap over to any other T2 turbo with the same A/R specs.
That turbo with a standard T2 turbine housing is exactly what I run. On wastegate only, I get an initial spike to around 7psi, and a settle to 6psi. No matter what turbine housing you use, we've discovered around here that you've gotta port the wastegate outlet in the turbine housing to prevent or reduce boost overshoot.
