hello guys

So, the clutch is down, and i think i have found why my clutch didnt want to work...

There is a heat spot on the diaphragm belt, and on the fly wheel too..

My though is that the diaphragm belt is not totally flat, and cause a grip zone.
I didnt noticed the first time, because i blaimed a fault of myself during the installation. But after the second install, i tryed harder to switch gears, and started the car with a gear locked. It caused the heat point that we can see on the both side (fly wheel and belt).

Next step...?
Claim a warranty, change the crankshaft seal, install a 6gears box, and find a good clutch that works !

I was gonna say I've seen people bend the clutch disc when installing the transmission/lining up the input shaft, but it looks you already found that out. Could have been bad to start with, could be that you didn't have the input shaft lined up well enough when you started bolting the bell housing back to the engine block. Just be really, really methodical when you bolt the bell housing back on next time.

And like everyone else said, get your car level and put something substantial under those jack stands. The hair on the back of my neck is standing up just looking at it. JFC.

Hello guys

A long time i didnt give news of my affair. So, the car is still not running, i opened a dispute with Paypal, and the seller admitted the fly wheel was in fault.

So, i took pictures of the flywheel dowel pins, and he is right, the surface is not good. When you bolt in the plate on the flywheel, it doesnt make a flat contact, and doesnt release uniformly the disk when you want to desengage the gears.

The seller told me to remove the pins, and install it this way. Of corse i wont do it ! Removing those pins without balancing is stupidity, and dangerous when you want a perfect alignement of the clutch system.

So, here is my story, maybe other buyers had better luck than me, and got a nicer fly wheel, but mine will not fit in the car.
Thank you guys, see ya
