My new parts came in this week and they are AWESOME. Some pics below. Until I hear back from Corky or Stephanie that it is ok, I don't plan on posting pics of the mods to the internal wastegate. I consider that proprietary information until told otherwise. You guys are the best. I thought the parts would come back cleaned up a little, but I never expected you to flatten all of the mating surfaces. Even on the turbo itself!! They drilled and tapped the turbo for 10mm bolts and installed them for me as well. Oh and they welded an area on the outlet of the turbo so the silicone tubing in the FM kit finally has somewhere to bite on to.

The first one is my outlet casting as it came from FM. The second one is after the BEGi mods.

No comments? I find that hard to believe with this crowd.

Markp posted a link to a page on teh BEGi website showing thier parts vs. FM parts which look to be your FM parts taht you sent out. So now you're famous!

The parts look way better now than when I saw them a month ago. Glad you were able to get them fixed up.

damn...looking way better, i still cant believe that FM would still send shit like that out, i mean common, if i was in the business of selling turbo kits, i would make sure that my customers were happy and send me their friends, everyone in retail knows that word of "mouff" (lol) is the best and least expensive form of advertising, the single most effective method...

that is why I will never get anything that is built from FM. I've gotten some random parts but if I ever decide to just buy a manifold and DP it will be from Begi and only Begi.

See quoted post below :)

Ugh... yeah those are my parts. Even my wife noticed the improvement. I was really impressed with the machining of the flat surfaces. I almost didn't want to put it all back together.

IT'S ALIVE!! And it turns out that the car is a lot quieter when you get rid of all the exhaust leaks. I never realized how bad it was before. Unfortunately, I think part of my exhaust is hitting the body somewhere so I need to chase that down tomorrow. Otherwise, I am back on the road!! Time to start tuning again...

That is very thoughtful of you! I have posted photos of the turbine housing already, so please feel free to do so. If you take the actuator off, be very, very, careful not to loose the "C" clip. :)
Thanks,
Stephanie

The proper term for them is Jesus Clip, or Oh Shit! clip, because they invariably fly off and hide in the grass or under the workbench.

I stick to Oops, but you have an excellent point. I suggest running and hiding when you are the one who lost it..... :)
