Nipple Fittings And Water Lines On A Turbo
Can steel nipple fittings along with o-rings be used to run the water lines on a turbo?:)

as in on the turbo itself? i doubt you would need to use orings. just get some teflon paste

What exactly do you mean when you say "nipples?" Are you referring to hose barbs?
Sorry, didn't mean to bring this thread back on track so quickly :-) And I don't know why you'd even mess with teflon paste: messy, could get clogged somewhere in your coolant lines if not careful and o-rings are cheap and work. |
yes hose barps , steel nipples, and whatever else they are called

Oh, then, yes, that's exactly what'd you use. I actually re-used the stock Volvo coolant line barbs on mine, as they're fairly long so they allowed me to get them away from the turbo heat before connected to rubber lines.
