Default Nipple Fittings And Water Lines On A Turbo

Can steel nipple fittings along with o-rings be used to run the water lines on a turbo?

What exactly do you mean when you say "nipples?" Are you referring to hose barbs?

Sorry, didn't mean to bring this thread back on track so quickly :-) And I don't know why you'd even mess with teflon paste: messy, could get clogged somewhere in your coolant lines if not careful and o-rings are cheap and work.

Oh, then, yes, that's exactly what'd you use. I actually re-used the stock Volvo coolant line barbs on mine, as they're fairly long so they allowed me to get them away from the turbo heat before connected to rubber lines.
