Default No boost then no start?

This is my set up
93 LNC 1.6
t25 with factory 7psi wastegate
DIY manifold from treadstone performance, cost 220 and you weld it yourself, very strong
custom downpipe
vortech fmu 12 to 1
1.8 tan injectors
FMIC
Tial BOV
MSD timing retarder (retard lol)
Walbro fuel pump
and my base timing is at 12 degrees

I just installed everything, insured there were no boost leaks, running a open cut out, not sure why but it was not boosting, can not figure out why, then in the end of the day, it wouldnt start. i gave up til tomorrow and will check for fuel and spark, but my concern is why was it not boosting? I know there are mannnnnnny factors to the question and it can be anything, but are there any suggestions?

Did you drive the car?
(Boost comes with engine load. At idle/free reving you will have vacuum.)

Then disconnect the wastegate until you get a wideband...blown motor costs more.

Hows the wastegate hooked up though? Directly to the port on the turbo or what?

As John said you have to step on it while driving to create boost, no boost will happen if you're just free revving the engine in neutral.

Also unhook the bov valve vacuum line from the intake manifold so it stays closed while you're trouble shooting and plug it with a bolt or something..

they had expert tuners that knew what to listen for and tuned via the spark plugs
99% of todays generation have no idea how to read a spark plug

It was a boost leak after all. I gotta take a pic of my set up for you guys, this flexhose stuff holds up to 300 degrees of heat and you can get your ic piping done for about 40 bucks. ill take a pic soon
