I still think timing is off...how experienced are you mechanically?
Have you ever done a timing belt job before?

I've done it a **** ton of times, first time on a miata, but i had a certified master mechanic look over my work.

um guys change the coil packs to different cylinders somehow your **** is not firing in the correct order. Are you running a cat, with a bad HG coolant could leak into there and clogg it up so it wouldnt run once everything cooled. A clogged cat will keep you from running everytime.

^thanks ill look into that, i have no cat, but ill double check the coil pack order, im pretty sure i got it right though, i followed the manual.

If all else fails, take some pictures of your timing gears lined up with the marks so we can see for ourselves. Books can be slightly ambiguous on a couple of key points. We'd love to second guess you.

just swap the daggon plug wires man it is an easy thing to try there is not that much play in the system, barring you doing the timming job completely wrong this is the only thing i can think of.

thanks guys, ill go ahead and do that with the wires tomorrow, and take pictures of the timing while I'm at it.

Swapped the plugs, she fired right up, time to put it all together and tune, thanks guys!
