OD or ID
After a long break dealing with OTM transmission issues and some house repairs, I'm finally back to work on my turbo install.
I ordered some 2" intercooler piping and it came in today. In my mind, I was expecting it to be 2" ID, but it is actually 2" OD. Maybe it is just me, but I thought pipe was measured ID not OD? When you guys say you are using 2" or 2.5" intercooler piping, are you talking ID or OD? Thanks! -scott |
Should be OD. Couplers are measured ID. T-bolt clamps need to be sized .25" large to fit over the OD of the coupler.
