Oil Feed port help ASAP

1 Attachment(s)
Ok due to part of my block breaking:vash::vash:

I am unable to use the standard oil pressure oil feed on my 99 short block. I am not going to be able to get my hands on a sandwhich plate until tuesday or wednesday.

After looking at my 95 head, I notice two ports. Anyone know if these are oil ports. I know back in the DSM days there was a port off the head that could be tapped for turbos.

No, the pressure there is much lower since it's after the cams.

PS, I don't remember exactly who you were at the dyno day, but I think I have a Greddy sandwich plate that I never used. PM me if you are interested in it since I can't, lol (my post count is too low...)

Based on how quickly that port emptied my oil pan all over my driveway i'd say it has plenty of pressure.

Well, the pressure there is definately less than in the block. I know of a few guys who have installed aftermarket oil pressure gauge sensors there and they read less than what the factory specs. One guy went as far as to replace his oil pump, thinking it was worn, but the readings stayed the same. Then he moved the pressure sensor to the block and the readings were correct.

Plus, I haven't seen anybody use a port on the head to feed their turbo.
