Over the top IC setup questions about Rad

Well I'm going with a setup identical to the pics below. My only question is what will I need to do with the radiator exactly? I understand some of you guys went with aftermarket radiators.. where and how did you mount it on. And what type of bracket design did you come up with for the IC? I appreciate it fellas thanks:bigtu:

seems like they lowered the radiator. Take it to a welder (aluminium) or make custom brackets.

For the NBs they just drill new holes in the stock bottom brakets to position the radiator down and back more towards the motor.

Sorry i can't elaborate more, this was discussed in more length is a larger thread about 2 days ago though. I'll see if i can find that.

I didn't get the size of o-ring but i did get the correct one. Meant to write it down, didn't happen. Got the orings changed and the CAS installed.

Guy asked the same question you did.

that last guy looks like he did what i did: hack off the upper 'cross member' and then made custom brackets.

I havent read anyone elses response to this post, but keep this in mind. My setup isnt like trackdogs (name?, first foto) He makes brackets that move the radiator back behind the pipes and lowers them also.

Mine just moves the stock radiator lower. (second pic)

The first and third are track dogs, The last guy just removed all the front crap. To run his pipes.

I would have to guess mine is the easiest for radiator bracket fabbinh (assuming you can weld). Running IC piping wuld be the same for all assuming a 2 inch pipe and IC that had inlets coming from the same side.

Thanks again buddy. Do you have any pics of the brackets you made? I just want to get an idea of what style of bracket you've came up with.

No I dont, but PM on Saturday to remind me to take pictures when I am home, and I can clear this up for you. My set up is the most ghetto possible. I cut the stock tabs and with the radiator still connected pushed it down as far as possible. Then welded the stock tabs back onto the car.
