Default Plumbing the turbo

Getting closer to being ready to install the turbo. Ordered a Tial WG, Grreddy BOV, MS3 is in and tuning is going well... its actually fun.
Also some FIC 900cc injectors are inbound, clutch is in (FM stg 2) and the chassis has been stiffened.

So I'm looking at the plumbing of oil and water lines.

Seems like using an oil filter adapter (and filter relocate) kit is the best source for the oil supply. However, look at the attached pic- it seems like the oil supply feed on the turbo is super small... normal? Just run -4 tubing? Run around the back of the engine? The oil drain appears massive in comparison.

Also check out the hard water lines. I like them, but it seems they are made for rubber tubing. Think I should save the hassle and run rubber or swap them out for braided hoses and AN fittings? Can anyone save me the time and let me know about the fittings installed on the engine?

The oil feed is pressurized, obviously, so it doesn't need a super big opening. Give it too much, and it'll push past bearings and seals and starting going into your intake.

Once it lubricates and cools the internals, which is a fairly large cavity, it looses pretty much all of its pressure, so we give it a giant drain line to go through. This is why the drains must never be horizontal, because it's all gravity fed.
