Default Post your engine bay here!

I can't seem to find a thread where people post their engine bay shots. For a turbo forum, I would've expected one of these. If there is already one, feel free to delete this!

Alright, lets see those turbos!

Older pic, engine is out of the car ATM - will update with new pics once the mild tuck/bay cleanup is finished and she's back together.

My engine bay looks like hell. PO drove it without oil cap, and the resulting goo has attracted all sorts of crud.

Let's see it! OP didn't specify pretty or clean engine bays. My car doesn't have a hood right now, so I don't technically fit the requirements, but I'll post something when I get the engine back in and the hood back on.

Flat black valve covers look great..

Should I paint the intake manifold to match when I get around to painting the valve cover?

Not the most recent pic, but it'll give you an idea..

Nice work! side exit exhaust . 8psi boost at 2200 rpm is only for diesels, how did you manage that?

We're all "go", not so much "show" here.

That's what I figured. I just think it'd be nice to share ideas and see what's all out there. Reason I did this is because my bay is torn apart at the moment and I'm trying to figure out the best way to route things and if I can do certain things with vacuum lines, etc.

Keep 'em coming!

I was going to comment on how narrow your engine looked, then I realized it was actually narrow because there are no manifolds on it.

Oh boy. I will only post shots of setups I actually ran, not just built

I don't have pics of the first few setups which were basically modified greddy stuff with JimB's I/C pipes.

Then this one, but I don't have a finished engine bay shot online. Boo.

Then the first twins

Then the second twins

Then the first BEGI/FM tubular replacement

Then the second more flowish BEGI/FM tubular replacement

Then the traditional collector mani FOR SALE PEOPLE!!

And now the V6 in progress.

Odd how the toyota COPs aren't in any of those pics even though I use those most of the time.

Several years ago, stock 1.6.

A few months ago when I almost burnt my car to the ground. Only pick I have on my phone here at work. I'll post up a better one later.

The gold was left over from painting my subie wheels and I was on a roll.

Ooo, that's my manifold! I can't see my downpipe, but I"m sure it's there too. It looked exactly the same after a year of abuse, until I painted it black with VHT.
