Not speaking for Sav, and I hope he chimes in here, but from all the e85 specific builds I've participated in/contributed to/read about that is basically it: high 9's low 10's MINIMUM, anything lower doesn't really help or do anything.
Couple cars I drove where this was implemented:
evo9 10:1 with Precision PT6262 (iirc)
sti 9.8:1 with garrett 3582

Much better off boost response, quicker spool, and power increase EVERYWHERE over a low compression pump gas similar setup.
I'll try to dig up some plots when I get home.

The other side had a hole about half the size as well as two in the bottom of the pan. Damaged nothing else besides leaving a few gouges in my turbos housing. Even one piston pin is u shaped....
