I researched clutches for about a month before getting a SPEC Stage2. In all my research here, m.net, and a few other forums, I couldn't find one thing that said one aftermarket clutch was better than any other. SPEC, ACT, Exedy, RPS, are all are in the same general price range per stage.

If you're talking about a puck clutch, this doesn't apply, but for the most part, "a slight to moderate increase in pedal pressure with better overall control and modulation" was what everybody said about every clutch.

I went with the cheapest I could find out of the major brands in a Stage2, and that was the SPEC, I paid $310 delivered for my '93.

I don't think you'll find anybody around here who will say "An XXX clutch is definitely better than a YYY clutch because of blah blah blah." At least I couldn't. As far as I found, they're all pretty much the same within each stage.
