I think my SR20T25 is an 80 but I don't remember. Spools 7 psi wastegate just before 3,000.

That says nothing about it not meaning anything. Just not as important on compressor housings as it is on turbine housings.

A/R lets you easily compare the performance of two turbos with identical wheels but different housings.

In the case of the t25 80/64 or its smaller counterpart its pretty valid since the wheels are the same but the housings are different.
