Have done about 1000kms on the built motor. Runs well except for an anoying slight rattling noise at idle. Very similar to a diesel engine sort of idling rattle but not as loud. It is not there at start up but after the engine is warm. Disappears with a very small increase in revs. Could this be a consequence of the forged Wiseco pistons? They were set up with 2.5 thou clearance as per the Wiseco instructions and I re measured everything when it came back from the machinists. I will buy a stethoscope and see if I can accurately find the source. Heater hose was not much help as a conduit for sound. Hard on the earhole too.
